Pangea Insights looks at information such as your transfer history, categories, and activity with individual receivers to identify useful and relevant updates. Depending on your activity, you may:

• See how your support adds up: Celebrate meaningful milestones, from sending streaks and personal records to the total amount you have sent over time.
• Understand your sending patterns: Notice changes and trends in how you support the people who matter to you.
• Discover your estimated savings**: See how much more your recipient may have received through Pangea’s exchange rates compared with a comparable provider’s typical rate.
• Plan your next move: Receive thoughtful prompts that help you keep recurring support, upcoming expenses, and longer-term plans in view.

Where to find Pangea Insights

Finding your insights in the Pangea app is quick and effortless:

• After a transfer: Right after you complete a send and return to the main screen, a temporary Pangea Insights strip appears near the bottom. Tap this strip to expand your full insight view.
• From the sparkle icon (✦): Look for the sparkle icon in the upper-right corner of the main screen or exchange-rate screen. A notification dot means a new insight is waiting. Tap the icon to view your latest insight or revisit previous ones. 

How to make your insights more powerful 

Your transfers tell a story, and taking a quick moment to add context makes your insights even more useful. By assigning Categories to your sends (like "Medical," "Home Improvement," or "Savings") or setting up a personal Pangea Goal (like "Building a Home" or "Tuition 2026") and linking your transfers to it, Pangea Insights can track specific targets and show you clear progress toward the milestones you care about. Whenever you have a free moment, you can easily label recent transfers right from your app home screen or Dashboard.

• Why don't I get an insight after every transfer?
  Pangea Insights shares an insight only when there is something useful to show you. To keep insights relevant and avoid repetition, generation frequency is limited. This is normal and does not indicate a problem with your transfer.
• Does Pangea Insights cost anything or affect my transfer?
  No. There is no additional cost. Insights appear after a transfer completes and do not change your transfer amount, recipient, exchange rate, fees, or status.
• My insight disappeared. Where did it go?
  The post-transfer strip is temporary. Your insight is not lost, simply tap the ✦ sparkle icon at the top of your screen to open it again.
• How are my estimated savings calculated?
  Pangea compares the local currency your recipient received with an estimated amount they would have received using a competitor's typical exchange rate. The difference is shown as your estimated savings.
• Can I see my past insights?
  Yes. After you have received more than one insight, open Pangea Insights and tap “View all insights” to see your previous insights, starting with the most recent.
