It is celebrated in many countries around the world.

In Mexico, this excitement is part of the Día de los Reyes’ tradition, where children eagerly await the arrival of gifts from the three kings. As part of this beloved custom, kids leave their shoes outside on the evening of January 5th. The next morning, they delight in finding them filled with candies, toys, and small treasures. This charming tradition is a wonderful way to share the spirit of the holiday with the children in your life. Food
No celebration of Three Kings’ Day is complete without a delicious Rosca de Reyes, a traditional Mexican sweet bread. This oval-shaped treat represents the crowns of the three wise men and is filled with dried fruits, adding natural sweetness and texture. The excitement of Rosca de Reyes lies in the surprise within. A small plastic figure of baby Jesus is hidden inside the dough, and whoever receives the slice with the figure is tasked with hosting the next party, often on February 2nd, known as Día de la Candelaria (Candlemas Day). To add an extra layer of fun, you can include multiple baby Jesus figures, increasing the chances of multiple hosts.
