How does Pangea recognize individual success?

We have a program called Pangea Props that gives everyone the opportunity to reward team members for their accomplishments. Props are published on a slack channel for everyone to read. How do you empower your team to be more creative?

You have to encourage a culture of trying new things. For people to be creative, they have to be allowed to think outside the box, and to do that they have to be OK with failure. We have to be introspective and get better each time, but failure is part of the process. That’s the only way to get better.

We constantly refine our mobile app experience to help people send money to friends and family. Behind the scenes, we build robust APIs that coordinate money transfers across many financial networks worldwide using a diverse and evolving tech stack based on AWS. We have a motivated team that is eager to take on any challenge.

Recruitment Process

Becoming a new Pangean is a team effort. Our process is built to ensure you fit our team’s needs and that we fit yours. We know how much time and effort it takes to apply to a new job. An actual human reviews every application. If you’re selected to interview for an open position at Pangea, here’s what you can expect

Phone Screen

As an initial step, a member of our team will conduct a phone screen to discuss the role, get a feel for your experience, and answer any questions you may have.

Assessment

For most of our positions, we’ll ask you to complete an assignment. We include this step in our process to give you the opportunity to showcase some of your skills and get a better idea for the role.

Meet with the Team

We’ll have you speak with the Hiring Manager either during a Phone Interview or Video Conference Interview. After the assignment, we’ll invite you to meet with several members of the team. For some positions, we’ll invite you onsite before making a final hiring decision.
